| What | Why |
|---|---|
| Your email address | To send your welcome email, launch news and (if you ask) a beta invite. |
| Your referral code, and who referred you (if anyone) | To work out your place in line and move people up for referrals. |
| When you signed up | To order the waitlist. |
| Whether you tapped a beta button, and which phone (iPhone or Android) you chose | To invite beta testers on the right platform. |
We don't ask for your name, phone number or location.
After you join, this site saves your referral code and place in line in your browser's local storage, so it can show them when you come back. It stays on your device. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
A few trusted providers process data on our behalf, only to run the waitlist:
These providers may process data outside your country. They're required to protect it and may only use it to provide their service to us.
You'll get one welcome email when you join, then occasional updates about Stubborn (launch, beta). Every update has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops emails straight away.
We keep your waitlist details until Stubborn launches and the waitlist has served its purpose, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever comes first.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to us using it. Just email hi@stubbornapp.com from the address you signed up with, and we'll handle it within 30 days. If you're in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
The waitlist isn't meant for anyone under 16. If you think a child has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll email waitlist members.
